As Director of Client Solutions at Pioneer Consulting, Austin brings 8 years’ submarine cable experience in both mechanical and electrical engineering. With a background ranging from network design and architecture, testing and verification, design, manufacturing, and qualification, to full-scale project management of undersea fiber optic cable systems, Austin brings a wealth of experience to Pioneer’s clients.
Austin’s advanced technical skills and familiarity with the undersea cable marketplace to provide services for a range of clients ranging from entrepreneurial developers to the major content providers in the world.
Previously employed by one of the major undersea system suppliers, Austin held many responsibilities from fiber optic transmission testing, to cutting edge cable to design, to a project management of the deployment of major systems, to marine services and operations.
Austin holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (Signal Processing) from New Jersey Institute of Technology, Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, School of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Applied Physics from Stockton University.
